JOSEPH A. GARCIA, Partner, Manager
Professional Computer Solutions
Joe moved to Hollister in 1972, where he attended local elementary schools and went on to graduate from San Benito High School in 1979. He attended Gavilan College and participated in home study courses through Liberty University. Joe continues to update his knowledge of a fast-moving industry by attending computer related seminars and classes.

Joe was employed eight years for Western Auto as a sales person, where he was promoted to office manager and then to store manager. When the store phased out in 1985, King & Domingues offered him a job. He began as a bookkeeper and staff accountant, then went on to preparing income taxes for individuals, partnerships and corporations. As the need for computer assistance grew, the firm decided to expand their computer consulting services and Joe took over as manager of the computer consulting division.

Joe is involved in retail store set-up, point-of-sale systems to manufacturing clients, set-up of inventory tracking, production, and integration with accounting systems. Joe has specialized training in various high-end accounting systems such as RealWorld, MAS 90, Great Plains, Business Works, as well as PeachTree and QuickBooks. In addition to retail point-of-sale, Joe works with farmers, medical offices, distribution companies, attorneys' offices, and various governmental agencies from local to state level.

His services include sales, needs analysis, design, installation and maintenance of networks, hardware, software and printer repairs. Having been involved as office and store manager in a retail business has given Joe some insights in terms of inventory tracking problems, accounts receivable tracking, accounts payable, cash flow, forecasts, as well as the full charge bookkeeping needs of a business. Joe's knowledge of accounting, tax law, the computer industry and computer technology gives him an advantage in applying business solutions with value for hardware, software and set-up of accounting records.

Joe is responsible for the in-house computer systems at Bianchi, Lorincz & Company. He oversees the operations of 5 servers (Windows 2000, Windows 2000 Advanced, Win NT 4.0, Novell 5, and IBM OS/2) and 40 workstation computers using Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Pro operating systems, assuring the peak performance of the network and email communications systems at both locations. Joe is also responsible for network, virus and data security measures between our Hollister and Morgan Hill offices.

Joe's community involvement includes membership in the San Benito County Contractors Association and Chamber of Commerce. He is a past treasurer of the Hollister Jaycee's, past treasurer of San Benito County Contractors Association, past commissioner of the Community Cable Access Commission, and served several years as the station manager of the Hollister Cable Channel 34. He also is a former member of the Hollister Business Network and LeTip networking organization. Joe is married and has four children.
